New Facebook Page

Dear Readers,

If you would like another outlet to follow my stories and ask me questions about my articles, the Statesman Journal, or journalism at large, visit my new Facebook page.

Why do journalists have professional pages such as this, you might ask?

Great question. Journalists have a few responsibilities that pages like this help us with. We need to be visible to the public we serve. We need to make sure the public can easily contact us with questions, comments, concerns or story ideas. We need to brand ourselves. We need a platform to get feedback on our articles. We need to establish credibility. We need to build a strong readership base. We need to be transparent. And so much more!

Thank you for helping me do my job better.

Sincerely,

Natalie Pate
